I recently entered this drawing into a t-shirt design contest for Tender Loving Empire, which is an awesome shop and indie record company located in Portland, Oregon. Im not sure they will choose it but Im proud of the image. Wish me luck.

Hi everyone. I am so sorry I haven’t been on as of late, it has been a very busy week and I haven’t even touched a board. I started school this week…I am finishing up an MFA in painting, I am really excited to work toward this right now. But I have a few new ideas for some boards and I promise to start getting those out very soon.
In the mean time I want to share a new painting that I did do, this past week. It is just in time for Halloween. I call her Bat Girl. She has also found her way on my etsy. I hope you enjoy, I had a really fun time working on this painting.

The third board is complete. This time around I went a little out of my comfort zone and created a mixed media peice. With the suggestion from my beautiful girlfriend Sarah (aka ohmydeer) I created an encaustic illusion of falling rain with nothing more than the average crayon. It turned out better than I expected and It was really fun.
Above is an image of the pre- melt, it took about 15-20 min to finally get the look that I was going for.
